Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia is an agricultural country. Where the average population works as farmers. However, the majority of the Indonesian population who work as farmers do not have knowledge about technological developments in the agricultural sector. This technology includes increasingly sophisticated agricultural tools. The lack of knowledge about modern agricultural equipment also has an impact on the younger generation. For the younger generation, the profession as a farmer is considered less attractive so it is very difficult to foster their interest in becoming interested in agriculture. This research wants to help overcome this problem by using Augmented Reality technology to introduce modern agricultural tools to farmers and the younger generation. This application will later apply AR technology to Android mobile devices which will be developed using the help of Unity software. This application can introduce various kinds of modern agricultural tools and traditional agricultural tools in an interesting and interactive way so that absorbing information is easier. This application for introducing traditional and modern agricultural equipment has been carried out a feasibility test using the Black Box method with the result that the application is ready to be used or redeveloped.
