Abstract

ABSTRACT Waste is one of the serious problems. Conventional waste processing methods still do not help much in changing society's mindset about waste. However, waste processing using a more modern method involves the use of a waste bank system. An Android-based application is expected to make the waste bank ecosystem more user-friendly for both the community and waste bank managers. The application utilizes APIs so that information and data from the database can be easily created and understood. This research proposes the use of Android for both waste bank managers and the community as most people nowadays use Android devices. In the waste bank application, managers can manage waste collection transactions, schedules, community savings, and accept or reject waste. As for the community users, they can view transaction histories, schedules, save waste, and submit waste to the managers. Keywords: waste, mobile, service, api, android, laravel, kotlin
