Abstract

Pangandaran Regency has diverse tourism potential ranging from natural, cultural and historical tourism. However, the potential of tourist attractions in Cisangkal Tourism Village has not been maximally exposed so that the impact on increasing the number of tourist visits has not been significant. This study aims to 1) factors that influence tourists to visit; 2) promotional strategies used; 3) what efforts to increase promotion that can attract various tourists. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews, documentation and literature review. Qualitative descriptive analysis techniques were used to identify the form of tourism promotion carried out by Cisangkal Tourism Village and to determine the impact of the promotion that had been carried out on increasing tourist visits. The results of this study indicate 1) factors that influence tourists to visit based on the convenience of infrastructure, uniqueness of art, facilities, cleanliness, products and prices; 2) promotions carried out are advertising, sales promotions, events, and direct marketing 3) implementing promotional methods through print, social and electronic media.
