Abstract

ABSTRACT SeloAji Hardware and Building Store is a business engaged in the sale of building materials located in the village of Sidolaju, Widodaren subdistrict, Ngawi district. However, until now, the payroll process is still using a conventional system with manual recording and documentation using paper media. This has resulted in many errors in the data recording process and inaccurate reporting. Based on these problems, research was conducted to design a payroll system at SeloAji Hardware and Building Store. This final project report on the design and implementation of this payroll information system is made with the aim of solving problems related to the payroll data processing process and producing an appropriate web-based information system design according to needs. The research method used in this design is to collect data through observation, interviews and literature studies. The payroll information system design process begins by analyzing the systems that have been run by the owner, then identifying the existing problems. After being identified, the author designs an information system with a system development model such as Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Normalization to Input and Output Design. After the entire system is completed, it can be seen that with the design of the new employee payroll information system, it can produce information that is fast, accurate and relevant.
