Abstract
ABSTRACT Computerization and information technology has developed rapidly over time and has had positive impacts and benefits that make it easier for people to carry out their daily work. Data security and confidentiality is an important aspect in everyday life. The important data that will be used as material for this research is the school exam question document files. These exam question documents can trigger data leaks caused by irresponsible parties. One method used to ensure the security of data or information is to use cryptography. The application of cryptography will focus on securing stored exam question data safely until the documents can be accessed. Based on the problems mentioned, an application was created that can secure exam question documents using encryption and decryption techniques with the AES cryptographic algorithm.
