Abstract

WEB-BASED ACADEMIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: SD Negeri Gurubug I) Galang Iman Haq, Afwan Anggara, S.Kom., M.Cs. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta Email : imanhaq.galang.97@gmail.com, angga_afw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Web-based Academic Information System. Gurubug I State Elementary School has the aim of creating students who excel in self-development and student personality based on faith and piety as well as cultural values and national character. In supporting this goal, making the work of homeroom teachers and teachers easier is very important. Processing of student grade information is carried out using Microsoft Excel software which is very time consuming to process. Therefore, this research develops a web-based academic information system to simplify the work of homeroom teachers and teachers, in the process of recording and processing student grades. This research formulates the problem of designing a web-based academic information system that can be easily understood by homeroom teachers and teachers. The aim of this research is to produce an information system that facilitates the recording and processing process. The system design method uses DAD and ERD design. The research results show that the web-based academic information system designed has succeeded in simplifying the process of recording and processing student grades, reducing the time required for processing grades, and minimizing errors in recording grades. The design of this system is expected to be able to overcome existing problems in processing student grade data, with a focus on making it easier for homeroom teachers and teachers to understand.
