Abstract

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF WEB-BASED EMPLOYEE LEAVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (Case Study: PT Gastro Gizi Sarana, South Jakarta) Desiana Miranti, Sutarman, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: desianamiranti24@gmail.com , sutarman@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT PT Gastro Gizi Sarana is an agency engaged in the provision of commercial kitchen equipment in Indonesia located at Jl. Gandaria I No. 330, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Based on the results of observations, PT Gastro Gizi Sarana does not yet have a system that can support its business processes, one of which is the process of managing employee leave. Leave management itself is an important part of efficient human resource management. Good leave management provides many benefits for its employees. Leave management that was previously quite good must be redeveloped so that it can simplify the existing leave management process. The problems at PT Gastro Gizi Sarana are the unclear leave recap, difficulty in checking leave history, and the risk of data loss due to scattered paper forms. The purpose of this study is to build a web-based employee leave management system that can automate and simplify the existing leave management process. This study uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) design method which consists of system analysis, system design, system design, implementation and testing. This system is built using the Laravel framework and the PHP programming language. The results of the study indicate that the system built can facilitate leave management at PT Gastro Gizi Sarana.
