Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED INVENTORY INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR ORCHID PLANT SALES AND EDUCATION (Case Study: Widarakandang Orchid Garden, Yogyakarta, DIY) Hafizh Athallah Widianto, Sutarman, M.Kom., S.Kom Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : banyuadem8@gmail.com, sutarman@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Widarakandang Orchid Garden located in Umbulharjo has dozens of types of orchids and hundreds of orchid stalks and these orchids are traded directly in the garden. Hundreds of different orchid data provide problems, namely the suboptimal processing of structured and easily obtained data. This causes the labeling process for each orchid stalk to be hampered and there are often errors in the field data with actual data. The solution to the problem is carried out by implementing an orchid inventory and sales system. The system implementation uses the waterfall method approach. The results of the inventory system implementation can handle the suboptimal data processing, by recording all incoming and outgoing orchid data. Then the results of the transaction system implementation can handle purchase requests and all transaction data details are recorded in a structured manner. In addition, the benefits of orchid data processing can provide additional information for users regarding orchid characteristics. The conclusion obtained from this final project, each orchid data can be recorded properly so as to shorten the orchid reporting process, the transaction process can be handled until the orchid delivery process, finally the user gets additional information about orchid characteristics.
