Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED NEW STUDENT ADMISSION INFORMATION SYSTEM AT SD ISLAM TERPADU HIDAYAH KLATEN Rizal Wahyudi, Adam Sekti Aji Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: rizal93wahyudi@gmail.com, adamaji@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT SD Islam Terpadu Hidayah Klaten is an educational institution at the elementary school level located in Belang Wetan, Klaten Utara, Klaten, Central Java. The process of new student admissions is still conducted conventionally, requiring parents of prospective students to visit the school for registration and payment. Once all steps are completed, prospective students undergo a selection process; if they pass, they proceed to the re-registration process. Managing the registration, payment, selection, and re-registration data can be time-consuming and labor-intensive, especially when there are many applicants. To address this issue, a new student admission information system is necessary to help manage the data for registration, payment, selection, and re-registration. The aim of this study is to implement a web-based new student admission information system. The methodology used to develop the system follows the waterfall model. The results of this research enable prospective students or parents to access information, register, make payments, view selection results, and re-register, while administrators can manage registration and payment data, and committee members can handle selection and re-registration data. Testing was conducted using black-box testing, yielding a functionality success rate of 84.09%. This percentage indicates that the system meets the majority of functional requirements and provides satisfactory performance.
