Abstract

WEB-BASED STUDENT VIOLATION MONITORING INFORMATION SYSTEM USING THE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD) METHOD (Case Study: SMKS Pasundan Cijulang, Pangandaran) Rayhan Maula Febryan, Moh. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: raimaula1122@gmail.com, ali.romli@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT SMKS Pasundan Cijulang is a secondary school located at Jl. Raya Cijulang No. 222, Pangandaran, Cijulang Village, Cijulang District, Pangandaran Regency, West Java Province. The school faces challenges related to the process of recording student violations, as there is currently no dedicated system for this purpose. The recording process has been conducted conventionally, leading to inefficiencies. Therefore, a web-based student violation monitoring information system is needed. The methodology used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The result of this research is a Web-Based Student Violation Monitoring Information System, which is expected to assist in all processes and stages of violation recording at SMKS Pasundan Cijulang, making the processes more optimal and efficient. The design utilizes UML, with PHP programming language, MySQL database, and CodeIgniter framework. After developing the system, a black box testing was conducted to evaluate its functionality through 50 test scenarios, achieving a success rate of 100%. The authors hope that the resulting system will facilitate the violation recording process at SMKS Pasundan Cijulang, enabling the management of all recording processes with more modern and up-to-date technology.
