Abstract

ABSTRACT This study focuses on the transition of the Bernofarm Pharmacy Cipunagara Bogor Branch from offline to online sales, which was triggered by the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The previous model of the pharmacy which only sold offline made it easier to spread the virus, so it was necessary to develop an online drug sales system. The data for this study were obtained through interviews with employees and the head manager of the pharmacy, providing insight into operational needs and customer interactions. The proposed application was developed using PHP, CSS, HTML, and Kotlin, with the use of Android Studio for mobile functions. Key features of the application include a user-friendly checkout and tracking system for customers, as well as a control panel for employees and administrators, each with different access rights to ensure efficient management. The application was tested in detail using black box testing to validate its functionality and performance. In addition, the application is designed to be further developed, allowing for future enhancements according to evolving user needs and technological advances. This study highlights the potential of online pharmacies in improving the accessibility and security of pharmaceutical services, especially in the context of the ongoing health crisis.
