Abstract
ABSTRACT New student registration is a routine activity carried out by schools every new school year. The process of registering new students in various schools in Indonesia still has not implemented a mobile new student admission system. The development of information and communication technology such as internet and web technology is able to support the process of input and output data accurately and efficiently, especially in new student admission activities. This online new student admission system should be developed by each school. Every year schools accept new prospective students, new student admissions are still carried out conventionally using registration forms and making student reports still using master books as a medium for storing student data. In this study, a new student admission system based on Mobile will be built which is applied to SMK YPE Sawunggalih Kutoarjo using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method with the Java programming language. With this system, it is expected to make it easier for prospective students to register and make it easier for schools to carry out new student admission activities online.
