Abstract

Population administration services are very important not only to improve the quality of an agency, but also used to measure public satisfaction with the services received. The background of this study is the lack of population service applications for village residents that can help the community in taking care of the necessary correspondence. There are still many correspondence service processes carried out manually which makes the process less effective. Along with the development of the digital era, population administration services must also develop, which were initially carried out manually, can be done online without having to come and queue at the Village Office. Therefore, the design of an Android-based e-certificate application system aims to make it easier for the community to take care of the certificates they need. This study uses the waterfall method. Data collection is carried out by conducting observations and interviews. The system created with UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams. The results of this study are an android application that can be opened from home to check what needs are needed to take care of certificates.
