Abstract

Kota Bima adalah sebuah kota otonom yang terletak di Pulau Sumbawa bagian timur, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. Kota Bima saat ini memiliki jumlah penduduk mencapai sekitar 141.294 jiwa dengan luas wilayah 437.465 Ha. Hingga sekarang daerah yang terhampar di ujung timur pulau Sumbawa ini terbagi dalam dua wilayah administrasi dan politik yaitu Pemerintah kota Bima dan Kabupaten Bima. Kota Bima saat ini telah memliki 5 kecamatan dan 38 kelurahan dengan luas wilayah 437.465 Ha dan jumlah penduduk 419.302 jiwa dengan kepadatan rata-rata 96 jiwa/Km². Penulisan pengembangan konsep tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah Asrama Mahasiswa yang ada di wilayah Kota Bima yang nantinya akan menjadi Asrama Mahasiswa atau tempat peristirahatan untuk Mahasiswa/i. Penulisan pengembangan konsep tugas akhir ini menyasar pada pemenuhan prinsip-prinsip desain Arsitektur Hijau sehingga mampu menjawab bagaimana cara mengatasi bangunan dipesisir yang mempunyai suhu yang lebih panas dan juga kecepatan angin yang sangat tinggi terutama pada daerah kabupaten/kota bima sendiri. Bima City is an autonomous city located in the eastern part of Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Bima City currently has a population of around 141,294 people with an area of 437,465 Ha. Nowadays, the area on the eastern tip of Sumbawa Island is divided into two administrative and political areas; the Bima City Government and the Bima Regency. Bima City currently has five districts and 38 villages with an area of 437,465 Ha and a population of 419,302 people with an average density of 96 people/Km². This final project aims to design a dormitory for students in the Bima City area. The writing of this final project concept development targeted the fulfillment of Green Architecture design principles to answer how to overcome buildings on the coast with hotter temperatures and also very high wind speeds, especially in the district or city of Bima itself.
