Abstract

Penerapan arsitektur regionalisme dalam pembangunan infrastruktur publik menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan identitas lokal yang kuat dan responsif terhadap konteks budaya serta lingkungan. Perancangan ini mengeksplorasi penerapan arsitektur regionalisme pada bangunan pusat informasi pariwisata dan kebencanaan di Aceh Singkil. Pusat informasi ini diharapkan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media penyampaian informasi kepada wisatawan, tetapi juga sebagai tempat edukasi mengenai mitigasi bencana, mengingat daerah Aceh Singkil memiliki potensi risiko bencana alam seperti tsunami dan gempa bumi. Melalui metode perancangan kualitatif, perancangan ini menganalisis elemen elemen desain arsitektur yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai lokal, material bangunan tradisional, dan adaptasi terhadap kondisi geografis serta iklim setempat. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan arsitektur regionalisme tidak hanya memperkuat identitas budaya masyarakat Aceh Singkil, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi fungsi bangunan dalam menghadapi bencana alam sekitar, serta mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Perancangan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perencanaan arsitektur yang lebih sensitif terhadap konteks lokal di Indonesia, memberi penguatan ekonomi lokal dan meningkatkan resiliensi masyarakat terhadap bencana, sekaligus memperkaya pengalaman wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Aceh Singkil. The application of regionalism architecture in the development of public infrastructure is key to creating a strong local identity that is responsive to cultural and environmental contexts. This design explores the application of regionalism architecture to the tourism and disaster information center building in Aceh Singkil. This information center is expected to not only function as a medium for conveying information to tourists, but also as a place for education about disaster mitigation, considering that the Aceh Singkil area has the potential for natural disaster risks such as tsunamis and earthquakes. Through qualitative design methods, this design analyzes architectural design elements that integrate local values, traditional building materials, and adaptation to local geographic and climate conditions. The design results show that the application of regionalism architecture not only strengthens the cultural identity of the Aceh Singkil community, but also increases the efficiency of building functions in dealing with natural disasters around it, and supports the development of sustainable tourism. This design is expected to contribute to architectural planning that is more sensitive to the local context in Indonesia, strengthening the local economy and increasing community resilience to disasters, while enriching the experience of tourists visiting Aceh Singkil.
