Abstract

Effective and efficient subject scheduling is urgently necessary in schools with a large student population and limited teaching staff, such as SMP Negeri 2 Natar in Lampung. Manual scheduling often leads to conflicts and is time-consuming. This study aims to develop an Android-based application that automates subject scheduling, thereby minimizing conflicts and enhancing teacher productivity regarding teaching time. The methodology employed includes data collection through interviews and observations and application development using the Waterfall model and the Shuffle algorithm. This system utilizes SQLite for offline data storage and Flutter for the user interface. Test results indicate that the application can compile a schedule quickly and effectively without conflicts, making it easier for teachers to organize their schedules. In conclusion, this application has successfully met the research objectives by simplifying the scheduling process and optimizing school time management. Keywords: Scheduling, Waterfall, Shuffle Algorithm, Android Application.
