Abstract

Perancangan resort di Desa Burno, Kabupaten Lumajang, bertujuan untuk menciptakan ruang yang harmonis antara arsitektur tropis modern dan keindahan alam setempat. Dengan iklim tropis yang khas dan keanekaragaman alam di sekitar kawasan, resort ini dirancang untuk memaksimalkan kenyamanan iklim melalui konsep desain yang responsif terhadap lingkungan. Arsitektur tropis modern mengintegrasikan elemen seperti atap miring lebar, ventilasi silang, dan penggunaan material alami seperti kayu dan batu lokal yang mendukung sirkulasi udara dan pencahayaan alami. Struktur bangunan dirancang untuk beradaptasi dengan lanskap, menghindari kerusakan ekosistem dan meminimalkan penggunaan energi buatan. Fasilitas resort mencakup berbagai cottage yang dirancang dengan orientasi optimal untuk menangkap angin sejuk dan mengurangi paparan panas matahari, fasilitas pendukung seperti restaurant, kolam renang, ruang conference, musholla, dll serta ruang komunal yang terbuka untuk mempererat hubungan sosial antar pengunjung. Dengan prinsip desain arsitektur tropis, perancangan ini juga mempertimbangkan penggunaan vegetasi lokal untuk menciptakan lingkungan hijau yang sejuk dan teduh. Resort ini diharapkan menjadi destinasi yang mempromosikan gaya hidup ramah lingkungan, mendukung ekonomi lokal, dan memperkenalkan wisatawan pada keindahan tropis Desa Burno dengan sentuhan modern. The design of the resort in Burno Village, Lumajang Regency, aims to create a harmonious space between modern tropical architecture and the beauty of local nature. With a distinctive tropical climate and the diversity of nature around the area, this resort is designed to maximize climate comfort through a design concept that is responsive to the environment. Modern tropical architecture integrates elements such as wide sloping roofs, cross ventilation, and the use of natural materials such as local wood and stone that support air circulation and natural lighting. The building structure is designed to adapt to the landscape, avoid damaging the ecosystem and minimize the use of artificial energy. Resort facilities include various cottages designed with optimal orientation to capture cool breezes and reduce exposure to solar heat, supporting facilities such as restaurants, swimming pools, conference rooms, prayer rooms, etc. and open communal spaces to strengthen social relationships between visitors. With the principles of tropical architectural design, this design also considers the use of local vegetation to create a cool and shady green environment. This resort is expected to be a destination that promotes an environmentally friendly lifestyle, supports the local economy, and introduces tourists to the tropical beauty of Burno Village with a modern touch.
