Abstract
ABSTRACT SMK Negeri 1 Sedan is a vocational high school located in Sidomulyo Village, Rembang District, Rembang Regency, Central Java. Based on the results of observations, library management at the school is still done manually, such as recording visits, borrowing, and returning books. This manual process often causes various obstacles, such as recording errors, data loss, and delays in preparing reports. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based library information system to overcome these problems. This system is designed to help manage member data, book data, borrowing and returning transactions, and prepare reports in a structured and real-time manner. The methodology used in the study includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of the implementation show that the web-based library information system is able to improve the efficiency of library administration, facilitate the book search process for students, and support decision making for the school. System testing shows an optimal level of success and is in accordance with the objectives of the study, namely to facilitate library management and services at SMK Negeri 1 Sedan.
