Abstract

ABSTRACT This web-based outbound reservation information system was built to overcome problems in the reservation process at Karangasri Outbound which is still done manually through direct visits or WhatsApp messages. This process causes various obstacles such as late responses, risks of recording errors, and difficulties in managing reservation data. The purpose of this study is to design and implement an information system that can simplify the reservation process, speed up data management, and reduce recording errors. This information system is built using the Waterfall method which includes problem identification, data collection, system requirements analysis, system design, system implementation, and testing & evaluation. The programming language used is PHP with the Laravel framework. This system allows tourists to make reservations online, choose packages and schedules, and upload proof of payment. In addition, managers can manage data and create reservation reports. The test results using the black box method showed a validity of 93.75%. This system helps streamline the operational process of managers and makes it easier for tourists to make reservations online with a user-friendly interface.
