Abstract
ABSTRACT Indokonveksi is a convection company that was established in 2016 in Yogyakarta. Currently, the company is facing problems in the process of sending Work Orders (SPK) which are still done via WhatsApp and production scheduling that is not yet supported by an automatic system. This condition causes overlapping schedules and lack of monitoring of production progress which has the potential to cause delays in completion. This study aims to develop a web-based production scheduling system using the Earliest Due Date (EDD) method with the Laravel framework. System development is carried out through the stages of problem identification, data collection, system analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and report preparation. This system is equipped with automatic scheduling features, progress monitoring, and automatic reminders to the Head of Production and Customer Service. The results of the implementation include database development and system interface implementation. Thus, the test results show 100% success in helping to determine production priorities, reduce the risk of delays, and facilitate monitoring of production progress.
