Abstract

ABSTRACT This final project aims to develop a web-based sales information system for Evy Florist Flower Shop to address limited product access and the inefficient manual ordering process, which is prone to data entry errors. This system facilitates online ordering for customers anytime, anywhere, and assists with automated and accurate inventory management and sales reporting. The Waterfall model, consisting of planning, needs analysis, design, implementation, and system testing, was used. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and a reliable and accessible MySQL database. System testing was conducted using black box testing and small group trials to ensure the system met requirements and was easy to use for users of all skill levels. The development results demonstrated improved operational efficiency, accelerated transaction processing, and improved accuracy in sales data management. The system also successfully expanded market reach through easy access to real-time online ordering. Integrated inventory management and reporting features support more informed decision-making by the shop owner. In conclusion, this system provides an effective and innovative solution that meets Evy Florist's business needs and optimally improves service quality and customer satisfaction.
