Abstract

ABSTRACT Ngemplak Nganti State Elementary School is an educational institution in Yogyakarta. This school faces several challenges in the educational process, one of which is the lack of an automated system for monitoring communication between teachers and students and parents. This makes it difficult for parents to access the information they need. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based student monitoring system to address these issues. The problem definition includes system access by administrators, teachers, and parents. The working methods used in this study include observation, interviews, literature review, system requirements analysis, design, prototyping, and testing. Therefore, the developed system can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of education at Ngemplak Nganti State Elementary School.
