Abstract

ABSTRACT PT Bubejo Makmur Sejahtera, a company engaged in the distribution of chilled fruit, faces significant challenges in inventory management due to its reliance on manual recording methods. This research develops a web-based inventory management system by implementing the FIFO (First In, First Out) algorithm to improve the efficiency and accuracy of stock management. Key features include real-time inventory monitoring, QR code generation for product tracking, and a structured approval flow for stock movement and disposal. This system ensures optimal stock rotation, reduces losses due to damage, and enhances operational transparency. Black-box testing validates key features, such as user authentication, stock recording, approval processes, and the QR code function. The results demonstrate the system's ability to automate inventory control, reduce human error, and optimize operational performance. This innovation supports the company in minimizing stock losses, improving decision-making, and enhancing service quality through an integrated inventory process.
