Abstract
The issue of long queues and manual ordering processes at the canteen of Campus 1 of the University of Technology Yogyakarta (UTY) has highlighted the need for a more efficient and modern food and beverage ordering system. This study aims to develop a multiplatform-based ordering information system accessible through Android applications and websites. The system is designed to facilitate online ordering for students, lecturers, and staff while assisting vendors in managing menus and orders digitally. The development process follows the Waterfall method, comprising requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Kotlin was used for mobile application development, and Laravel was employed for website development. System testing utilized the Black Box Testing method and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate functionality and user comfort. The testing results indicated that the system functioned properly and received an average SUS score of 86, categorizing it as highly usable. This system significantly improves the speed, structure, and user convenience of the ordering process at the canteen.
