Abstract

Despite advances in medical science, global statistics continue to report that one woman dies every hour due to pregnancy and childbirth complications. This alarming figure underscores the critical need for improved prenatal health monitoring to ensure the safety of both mother and fetus. Community Health Center (Puskesmas) Jogonalan, located in Klaten Regency, is one of the healthcare facilities facing challenges in effectively monitoring maternal health, primarily due to limited use of technology in the decision-making process. This study aims to develop a mobile and web-based Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to provide tailored health recommendations based on individual maternal conditions. The system is designed to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and the overall quality of prenatal care services. Black box testing was employed to validate system functionality, ensuring that all features operated as expected and responded accurately to a wide range of input scenarios. The application successfully ensures data validation, seamless page navigation, and accurate presentation of health-related information, meeting user expectations in maternal health monitoring. Therefore, this research holds the potential to significantly improve the quality of maternal healthcare services at Puskesmas Jogonalan and contribute to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality rates.
