Abstract
This study aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of restocking processes at the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) Maju Jaya Accessories through the development of an Android-based application. Previously, the business relied on manual restocking methods, which often led to delays, stock mismanagement, and inefficient communication. The designed application enables store partners to independently submit restock requests, which can then be monitored in real time by the business owner. The research adopts the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model. Findings indicate a significant improvement in stock management timeliness, increased restocking efficiency, and a notable reduction in operational costs, which were previously inflated due to manual errors—such as scheduling restocks for stores that were not yet prepared. The application features a user-friendly interface accessible to users of varying technical backgrounds. However, its current functionality is limited to business owners and partner stores, with no public access. In conclusion, the implementation of this application successfully enhances operational effectiveness and adds value by enabling more structured and efficient stock management for both the business and its store partners.
