Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based to-do list application that organizes activities using the Selection Sort algorithm, provides task reminders through notifications, and generates completion reports to support time management for university students. The development process adopts the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, enabling fast and iterative cycles that accelerate the application's completion. The app is built using the Kotlin programming language, the Jetpack Compose UI toolkit, and SQLite for local data storage. Core features include activity and course input, activity sorting, task completion reports, and a schedule conflict detection system between tasks and course sessions. The implementation of the Selection Sort algorithm ensures a clear prioritization of tasks, helping students manage their daily academic and personal responsibilities more efficiently.
