Abstract

Anime has become a globally popular form of entertainment with a rapidly growing fanbase, driving the demand for efficient platforms to manage and distribute anime content in line with advances in internet technology. This study presents the design and implementation of a web-based information system developed to serve as an integrated solution for the distribution, management, and consumption of anime content. The platform enables users to access, rate, and manage anime content through features such as search functionality, favorite lists, user reviews, and real-time notifications. Built on a client-server architecture, the system utilizes React.js for a responsive and interactive frontend, and Node.js with Express for backend development, while PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases are employed for managing both structured and semi-structured data. The final system allows users to register, search for and stream anime content, submit reviews, and receive updates on new episodes and trending titles. With its scalable architecture and rich feature set, this web-based solution addresses the needs of anime enthusiasts and offers potential for future enhancements, such as integration with external streaming services and improvements to the recommendation algorithm for a more personalized user experience. Keywords: Information System, Web, Anime, Anime Content, Content Management, Node.js, React.js.
