Abstract

Technological advancements have played a crucial role in enhancing efficiency within the traditional clothing industry, particularly in production and marketing processes. One significant innovation is the implementation of online ordering systems, which allow for remote transactions, minimize human error, and ensure secure data storage. This study aims to develop an online ordering system for traditional apparel using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. RAD is selected for its ability to accelerate system development through iterative cycles and continuous user feedback. The case study was conducted at “Sablon Yogyakarta,” with data collected through interviews with the shop owner and customer surveys to identify system requirements. The developed system is intended to enhance customer convenience and improve operational efficiency. System testing was carried out using black box testing to verify that all features function as intended. Keywords: Ordering, System, Service, RAD, Fashion.
