Abstract
Sleman Regency, located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, is experiencing rapid economic growth driven by the education, tourism, agriculture, trade, and service sectors. The increasing number of motor vehicles, especially motorcycles as the primary mode of transportation, reflects the region’s high mobility demands. However, this growth has not been matched by easy access to fast and well-organized vehicle maintenance services. Many workshops in Sleman still operate conventionally and have not adopted digital technologies for service management, making it difficult for users to find nearby workshops or schedule services efficiently. To address this issue, this study developed an Android-based Motorcycle Service Application specifically for the Sleman area. Built using the Kotlin programming language, the application provides users with information about the nearest motorcycle service centers. It integrates the Google Maps API for location data and navigation, allowing users to view and interact with workshop locations in real-time. The application utilizes Location Based Service (LBS) technology to deliver information based on users’ geographic positions. The system manages user data, service records, and common motorcycle issue references. The developed application is expected to significantly improve user convenience in locating and accessing motorcycle maintenance services quickly and efficiently.
