Abstract
This study aims to develop a learning media product for introducing alphabets and numbers using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, specifically designed for early childhood learners aged 4 to 6 years. Given the rapid advancement of technology, children today are increasingly familiar with using Android devices compared to those in previous generations. Therefore, this application was created to support early literacy and numeracy learning while preventing exposure to inappropriate content. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), employing the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The application was developed using Unity for the platform and Vuforia for 3D processing and AR integration. The results indicate that the AR-based learning media for letter and number recognition in children aged 4–6 is considered valid, feasible for use, and has potential for further development.
