Abstract

As a junior high school, SMP Negeri 1 Rembang plays a crucial role in the development of knowledge. SMP Negeri 1 Rembang must be able to improve the quality and standard of education it provides. Currently, all learning processes at SMP Negeri 1 Rembang remain conventional. In other words, the teaching and learning process between students and teachers can only take place if there is a meeting between the students and teachers in the classroom. If this meeting does not occur, the learning process cannot take place. E-learning can support the development of teaching and learning activities through the internet, intranet, or other computer network media presented through an application. E-learning allows for the educational process to take place without face-to-face meetings, and the development of knowledge for students can be carried out easily. With e-learning, SMP Negeri 1 Rembang is ready to provide more advanced and modern teaching to each student because this system can meet all teaching and learning needs effectively and efficiently.
