Abstract
Internet usage in educational settings has become a fundamental requirement to support interactive and effective teaching and learning processes. However, inadequate network management, as observed at Banguntapan Public Elementary School, presents several challenges, including difficulties in detecting network disruptions and a lack of visibility regarding bandwidth usage. Consequently, this study aims to design and implement a web-based network traffic monitoring dashboard system to enhance the efficiency of network monitoring and management. The research employed direct field observations to identify issues, followed by system design utilizing the Laravel framework, and system testing conducted through black-box testing methods. The developed system incorporates features such as user login, dashboard monitoring, computer IP information, device activity logs, and a speed test function to assess connection quality. Implementation results indicate that the system can provide real-time network information, enabling lab staff to monitor network conditions without the need to check individual devices, thereby enhancing the speed and accuracy of network problem resolution. User evaluations revealed a positive response to the system's functionality and design; however, the development of an automated notification feature remains necessary. Overall, this system is deemed effective and holds significant potential to improve the quality of computer network services in elementary schools.
