Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has prompted various organizations to adopt web-based systems to enhance work efficiency, particularly in inventory management. Web-based inventory systems provide ease of recording, real-time stock monitoring, and swift, accurate reporting. However, the Melati Women's Farmers Group (KWT) in Jagalan Village, Kotagede, continues to rely on manual, book-based record-keeping, which results in several challenges, including data vulnerability to damage or loss, recording errors, and delays in the reporting process. To address these issues, a web-based inventory information system was designed and implemented, incorporating features for managing incoming and outgoing goods data, stock monitoring, and automated reporting. The system development process commenced with a needs analysis, followed by system design, implementation, and testing. Testing was conducted using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method, employing a Likert scale to 15 respondents. The test results revealed a user satisfaction rate of 82.93%, categorizing it as agree. This result indicates that the developed system effectively meets user needs, enhances data accuracy, and streamlines the inventory management process at KWT Melati.
