Abstract

ABSTRACT SD Alam Muara Bungo is an educational institution located in Pasar Muara Bungo District, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. Currently, the school conducts student admissions using a manual system that relies on Microsoft Office and paper registration forms. This approach leads to several issues, including difficulties in data recording, missing files, and inefficiencies in managing registration documents and payments, which consume significant time and storage space. This study aims to design a web-based new-student admissions information system to streamline the management of prospective student data, registration documents, and payment processing at SD Alam Muara Bungo. The methodology involves information system analysis and design, starting with identifying system requirements, followed by database and user interface design, and culminating in the implementation of an online-accessible web-based system. The outcome is a web-based information system that enables prospective students to complete the registration process online while enabling more efficient, organized management of student data, registration documents, and payments.
