Abstract
ABSTRACT Mental health issues among students necessitate early detection and accessible treatment facilities. This research aims to design and develop an "Online Mental Health Consultation and Counseling Guidance Scheduling Application” at Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta (UTY), offering online consultation and scheduling functionalities. The primary assessment tool integrated into this application is the Self-Reporting Questionnaire-29 (SRQ-29), a screening instrument developed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to identify mental health problems. The SRQ-29 was selected because it comprises 29 questions designed to detect early symptoms of mental disorders in adults, including anxiety/depression, psychoactive substance use, and psychosis symptoms, based on experiences within the past 30 days. The outcome of this research is a functional application that enables UTY students to independently screen their mental health using the SRQ-29, access direct consultation services via online chat, and schedule meetings with counselors more effectively and systematically. .Keywords: Mental Health, Mobile Application, Online Consultation, Counseling Scheduling, SRQ-29.
