Abstract
ABSTRACT Stunting is a condition characterized by impaired growth in children due to chronic malnutrition, which adversely affects both physical growth and cognitive development. According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2024, the prevalence of stunting remains at 19.8%, highlighting the need for more effective and sustainable early detection methods. This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based stunting screening application for children aged 0–36 months (toddlers) by implementing the Z-Score method based on the WHO growth standards. The application was created to assist parents in monitoring their child’s growth using anthropometric indicators, specifically weight, height, or length, and age. Additionally, this study compared the stunting status classifications generated by the application with those obtained from examinations conducted by health workers at community health centers (Puskesmas). The results demonstrate that the application can provide systematic early warnings of stunting risk and serve as an effective tool to support early stunting prevention efforts. Keywords: Stunting, Z-Score, Anthropometry, WHO, Mobile Application.
