Abstract
Kabupaten Sleman memiliki potensi perkembangan olahraga yang cukup tinggi, namun belum sepenuhnya didukung oleh ketersediaan fasilitas olahraga terpadu yang representatif. Keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana olahraga serta pemanfaatan ruang publik menjadi permasalahan yang memengaruhi optimalisasi pembinaan atlet dan aktivitas olahraga masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, perancangan Sport Center di Kabupaten Sleman dirancang sebagai fasilitas yang mampu mewadahi kegiatan olahraga prestasi, rekreasi, dan pembinaan secara terpadu. Perancangan Sport Center ini menggunakan pendekatan bioklimatik untuk merespons kondisi iklim tropis lembap di Kabupaten Sleman. Pendekatan tersebut diterapkan melalui pengolahan orientasi bangunan, optimalisasi ventilasi alami dan pencahayaan alami, penerapan elemen pembayangan, penggunaan material yang sesuai iklim, serta integrasi vegetasi sebagai pengendali iklim mikro. Metode perancangan dilakukan melalui analisis tapak, kebutuhan ruang, zonasi, dan respon bangunan terhadap aspek iklim dan lingkungan sekitar. Hasil perancangan diharapkan menghasilkan Sport Center yang nyaman, efisien energi, dan berkelanjutan, serta mampu mendukung pengembangan prestasi olahraga dan peningkatan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat Kabupaten Sleman Sleman Regency possesses significant potential for sports development; however, this potential is not yet fully supported by the availability of comprehensive, integrated sports facilities. Limited sports infrastructure and underutilized public spaces hinder the optimization of athlete development and community sports. Therefore, the Sports Centre in Sleman Regency is designed to accommodate competitive sports, recreational activities, and developmental programs in an integrated manner. The design employs a bioclimatic approach to address the region’s humid tropical climate. This approach includes strategic building orientation, optimization of natural ventilation and lighting, incorporation of shading elements, use of climate-appropriate materials, and integration of vegetation to regulate the microclimate. The design process involves site analysis, assessment of space requirements, zoning, and consideration of climatic and environmental factors. The resulting Sports Center is expected to be comfortable, energyefficient, and sustainable, thereby supporting sports achievement development and enhancing the health of the Sleman Regency community.
