Abstract
ABSTRAK Potensi Kabupaten Batang dengan wisata alam, budaya, dan sejarah dikembangkan oleh pemerintah sebagai Kawasan Strategis Wisata. Penambahan Resort merupakan salah satu alternatif akomodasi wisata yang dapat dilakukan untuk menampung penngunjung baik wisatawan lokal maupun wisatan dari luar daerah. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk menciptakan sebuah fasilitas berupa Mountain Resort yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan wisata terkhusus di wilayah perkebunan teh Pagilaran, Kabupaten Batang. Metode perancangan yang digunakan dalam proses ini yaitu metode deskriptif dari proses identifikasi masalah yang menggambarkan kondisi eksisting yang ada di lokasi tersebut melalui survey yang telah dilakukan serta menggunakan metode analisis yang membahas secara mendalam melalui observasi, wawancara maupun dokumen. Dari metode-metode tersebut dihasilkan data-data yang akan menjadi bagian mendasar untuk merencanakan, menganalisis, hingga menghasilkan konsep desain sebuah mountain resort yang menyesuaikan iklim fisis pegunungan dan iklim tropis Kabupaten Batang dengan desain bangunan modern. Upaya tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti bentukan bangunan dan kenyamanan ruangan, fasilitas yang disediakan dan aktivitas yang diadakan untuk pengunjung. Kesimpulan dari perancangan ini adalah proses mendesain bangunan dan lansekap mountain resort, yang mana akan memenuhi kenyamanan pengunjung, seperti kenyamanan termal, kenyamanan visual, kenyamanan audial. Dengan demikian, mountain resort ini dapat memenuhi kebutuhan akomodasi wisatawan. Kata kunci: Mountain resort, arsitektur tropis modern, Kabupaten Batang ABSTRACT The potential of Batang District with nature, culture and history developed by the Government as a strategic area of interest. The addition of the Resort is one of the tourist accommodation alternatives can be made to accommodate both local tourist and tourist from outside the region. The purpose of this final project is to create a form of Mountain Resort can accomodate tourist activities particularly in the area of tea plantations, a Batang Pagilaran,. The design method used in the process is to take a descriptive method of identification process problems that illustrate the existing conditions that exist at that location through a survey that has been done and using that analysis method in depth discussion through observation, interviews or documents. Of these methods generated data that will be a fundamental part to plan, analyze, and produce a concept design of a mountain resort which adjust the physical climate of the mountains and tropical climate with Batang modern building design. Such efforts can be affected by factors such as the building form and comfort of the room, the facilities provided and the activities organized for the visitors. Conclusions of the design is process of designing the buildings and landscape mountain resort, which will satisfy the convinience of visitors, such as thermal comfort, visual comfort, audial comfort and attractiveness. Thus, the mountain resort is able convinienve of tourist accommodation. Keywords, Mountain resort, modern tropical architecture, Batang District
