Abstract

Group guidance is a process of giving assistance to individuals in group situations. Group guidance is aimed at preventing students from problems and developing their potential, including problems of a low patriotism towards love for the motherland. Planting the attitude of love for the country is very important to make students obey rules, be willing to sacrifice for the sake of the nation and the State. Lack of love for the country can be a barrier for students to love their homeland. Sociodrama is a solution so that students can live up to social problems, especially the attitude of loving the homeland. The study uses experimental methods, with a simulation design of pretest - post test controlled group design. The study used two variables, namely X (group guidance service with sociodrama technique) and Y variable (attitude of patriotism) with a sample of 16 students from a total population of 55 students. The sampling technique used is random sampling. Techniques and instruments collect data used structured interviews and questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques in this study use SPSS to test validity, reliability, and hypothesis. Submission of research hypotheses used t-test. The result of Sig (2- tailed) is 0.00 with an error level of 5% (0.00 <0.05). It means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It also means that (there is significant influence of guidance services for sociodrama groups on the attitude of patriotism of students at SMK 17 Seyegan.
