Abstract

ABSTRACT Motorcycle racing fans generally are in desperate need of a time record calculation on the travel time of motorcycle used. It cannot be separated from the main purpose of a racing motorbike assembly. The main foundation of the tool certainly starts from how a device can read and record the results of travel time automatically (Transponder) and can the device read the condition of a motorbike at almost the same speed position. Based on this matter, in the research of a device that records the travel time of motorcycles using Arduino, is one of the solutions that can be used by motorbike racing users. With an Arduino Nano microcontroller based system that is integrated into rf 1 channel as the naming of each motor which will then be displayed on a 16x2 lcd as the final grade produced in a vehicle's travel time. The start and finish lines, of course, is the initial and final condition of the start of this device. In the process Universal Remote is used as an infrared transmitter at the start and finish lines which is enabled to turn on rf 1 channel via ir receiver to send the frequency identity signal and rf Receiver will detect and receive frequency identity signals that are forwarded to the Arduino Nano. Arduino Nano will process the time calculation when the motor starts to cross the start line and will stop the time calculation when the motorcycle has crossed the finish line on each lap and sends the calculation results on the lcd. The lcd will display the results of the time record generated. The led will be turn on if the motorcycle has passed the start line which functions as an indicator. Kata kunci : Record time using Arduino Nano, RF 1 Channel, IR transmitter- receiver, LCD
