Abstract
In today's society, whose mobility is increasingly high, Android smartphones are becoming personal assistants who often become primary needs in helping human activities. Based on this, the project means that this tool intends to make an access rights control tool using the QR-Code by using Android smartphone media which is added by the database server. The design of this access system utilizes a QR-code scanner application that is self-made and modified with coding to instruct android as a media to open doors that contain QR-codes. In the application there are menus such as login username and password, status and barcode data. If you already have user data can be used as an access right to unlock the door and can be an efficient virtual key to replace the role of physical keys and contactless cards. In this case, to manage it all, a web server is built that will communicate with Arduino to control the entire security system, by storing data on user access rights, recording the data of the user who carried out the scanner and entered the room. Barcode or bar code is a set of data that is described by lines and spacing (space). Arduino Uno is an ATMega328 based microcontroller board that functions as the heart of all systems / programs. The working principle of this tool when opening the scanner application on android, the user must log in username and password data first. After logging in automatically opens the QR-code scanner camera. After the scan process automatically the data enters the web database server then the servo on the automatic door opens. After the user enters the ultrasonic sensor works and the door is automatically closed again. Keywords: Entry Access Rights Control, QR-Code.
