Abstract

Zakat in Arabic "zakah" is a certain asset that must be issued by Muslims and given to those who have the right to receive it. There are two kinds of Zakat : zakat fitrah and zakat maal There are 8 groups that can receive zakat fitrah; and the process of determining someone who is entitled to get zakat or not is measured by 6 criteria, namely age, income, number of dependents, house prices, length of education and health facilities. If the process of determining mustahik zakat is still done manualy, it is feared that it is not on target and can be subjective, because we know their daily lives. Moreover if there is a lot of data, there must be a possibility of errors in determining the mustahik. To solve the problem above, author is building a system that has the ability to help in the process of determining mustahik zakat fitrah which produced the accuracy percentage matches the selection feature of the data before and after the selection of traits. Data were derived from interview with one member of the UPZ (Unit Penampung Zakat) and by observation of the process of deliberation in determining mustahik. The system that has been built produces the greatest accuracy results of training data without feature selection from all experiments both from the maximum iteration, rank value and error value reaching 85,714% with 140 data and the results of accuracy testing of data without feature selection reached 81,052% with 95 data numbers. The greatest accuracy of data training with feature selection from all experiments both from the maximum iteration, rank value and error value reached 88.571% with 140 data and the results of the test data process with feature selection reached 83,157% with 95 data.
