Abstract
Glaucoma is the cause of blindness which lies on second ranks after cataracts throughout the world. The results of a survey conducted by a health agency indicate that most Glaucoma sufferers have not been diagnosed. Glaucoma is a type of eye disease which rapidly develops and can cause blindness. Therefore, it requires a system which can classify Glaucoma types with a short and accurate time. This classification system aims to shorten the time in the process of classifying Glaucoma types, especially open-angle glaucoma. To classify glaucoma based on symptoms and analysis, Naїve Bayes Classifier (NBC) method is applied which is a probability approach to produce classification. Testing this system is done by using 21 training data and 9 test data which produce the results of system accuracy of 88.88%. With the use of this classification system, it is expected that system users can classify the type of Glaucoma suffered by someone more quickly.
