Abstract

The difficulty of predicting the items that are often purchased by customers causes confusion for the seller to order goods on the supplier because there is no information about the customer's shopping habits. Inefficiencies in controlling stock of spare parts or in and out of the number of spare parts raise a lot of difficulties especially if there are lots of spare parts data must be processed due to its various types. To solve this problem, SPX Racing Part Jepara requires a better data processing system than the previous system with sparepart stock management system to provide optimum data processing. The system of sales and purchases carried out by the store that is currently running is still manual. It means, data storage and data reports are still recorded in a notebook. Even its inventory reports and transaction record, billing system, and owners monthly reports are sill written manually. One way to solve this problem is to use the Frequent Pattern Growth Method. FP-Growth method was chosen with the aim to facilitate observation of customer purchasing patterns. Analysis of customer transaction patterns can be used by shop owners to supply goods appropriately.
