Abstract
This Thesis discusses about Pride and Prejudice And Zombies (2016) film. The analysis focuses on materialistic values that found on the film. The first problem in this research is the materialistic values in the film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The second problem is the reasons that humans become materialistic figures. The third promblem in this research is conflicts caused by materialistic. In order to find the answer in this study of the problem above, the writer conducted library research. The writer obtained the data from reading the script of the film, watching the film repeatedly, taking note of the important data, reading some literature books and journals. The writer uses Marx’s Theory to analysis the materialistict values. In the film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016), there are five materialistic values; money, possessions, images, and status. These values can make people become a maternalistic peson. Conflicts that arise due to the materialistic of human beings are internal and external conflicts. These conflicts have good and bad effects on people who have materialistic side. Key word: Materialistic, Conflicts, Movie, Marx’s Theory.
