Abstract
Rapid technological advancements and extensive utilization of open opportunities for all institutions or organizations. Vocational High Schools need access, management, utilization of information in large volumes effectively, efficiently, quickly and accurately. One of them is in the field of counseling. Guidance and counseling at SMK YPKK 1 Sleman in addition to providing services to students, also record student data, attendance and alumni data from SMK YPKK 1 Sleman. This study aims to develop a Web-Based Counseling Guidance Information System at SMK YPKK 1 Sleman. System development uses the waterfall development model which includes system requirements analysis, program design, program code making, program testing, program implementation, and maintenance. The system is built using the PHP and Javascript programming languages, as well as the MySQL database. The results of this study are in the form of web-based counseling information system application software that can manage student data, attendance data, counseling service data, and alumni data of SMK YPKK 1 Sleman. Based on the results of the Black Box test, it can be concluded that this Web-Based Counseling Guidance Information System at SMK YPKK 1 Sleman Vocational School can be used according to its function.
