Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam mendorong percepatan pembangunan pertanian dan penciptaan peluang kerja bagi masyarakat umumnya dan keluarga petani di perdesaan khususnya, diperlukan peningkatan daya saing dan nilai tambah dari hasil pertanian melalui penanganan pasca panen yang optimal. Kegiatan pasca panen perlu diperhatikan untuk mempertahankan mutu produk hasil panen, agar terhindar dari penyusutan, kerusakan, memperpanjang daya simpan dan meningkatkan nilai ekonomis hasil pertanian. Perancangan Pusat Penanganan Pasca Panen Hasil Pertanian Hortikultura sebagai tempat mewadahi petani untuk menerapkan sistem manajemen mutu yang baik (good handling practices) dan pendistribusian hasil panen, juga diiringi dengan edukasi penanganan pasca panen untuk petani dan khalayak umum. Penggunaan teknologi dalam proses penanganan pasca panen sebagai sarana mewujudkan sistem manajemen mutu yang baik (good handling practices) serta menggantikan sistem tradisional yang digunakan petani selama ini, untuk memperoleh image branding dalam farming industrial. Teknologi juga menjadi aspek pertimbangan dalam desain bangunan melalui pendekatan High-Tech Industrial Architecture yang mengakomodasi fungsi ruang menggunakan elemen-elemen struktural secara dominan. Pemanfaatan konstruksi bangunan yang utamanya melayani dan mewadahi segala proses kebutuhan industri serta interpretasi kecanggihan teknologi pada wajah bangunan. Kata kunci: High-Tech Industrial, Manajemen mutu, Penanganan Pasca Panen ABSTRACT To accelerate agriculture development and job opportunities creation for society in general and farmer family who come from remote area in particular, it is needed to increase competitiveness and add value of agricultural product through optimum post-harvest handling. Post-harvest activity needs to be notice in order to preserve the quality of harvest product, to avoid depreciation and damage, to extend storage power, and to increase economy value of agriculture product. Design for post-harvest handling center of horticultural crops as a place to accommodate farmer to apply good handling practice and crops distribution system along with post-harvest education for farmer and public. The usage of technology in post-harvest handling process as medium for manifesting good handling practices system and substituting traditional system that has been used for ages by the farmer in order to achieve image branding in farming industrial. Technology also becomes the consideration aspect in designing a building through High-Tech Industrial Architecture approach because it accommodates space purpose using structural elements dominantly. The main function of the building is to serve and to accommodate every process of industrial need also to interpret technology sophistication on the building appearance.
