Abstract
ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan urbanisasi merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi di daerah perkotaan. Dampak langsung juga dihadapi oleh pemerintah Kota Magelang, karena keterbatasan lahan yang tersedia bagi penduduk, akibatnya persaingan untuk mendapatkan tempat tinggal menjadi masalah tersendiri. Hal tersebut mendorong masyarakat di Kota Magelang untuk menghuni kawasan-kawasan yang tidak sesuai dengan tata ruang kota dan tidak layak huni yaitu penyimpangan pemanfaatan lahan secara ilegal pada lokasi sepanjang bantaran sungai, maupun di atas tanah yang bukan miliknya. Kota Magelang adalah sebuah kota yang berada di provinsi Jawa Tengah yang memiliki sekitar 18 ribu meter persegi dan hanya mempunyai tiga kecamatan saja, Kota Magelang memiliki tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang cukup tinggi, yakni mencapai 120 ribu jiwa. Untuk itu Pemerintah Kota Magelang merencanakan penambahan hunian berupa rumah susun sewa dengan pendekatan Kampung Sehat. Konsep pendekatan ini adalah suatu pendekatan desain bangunan yang diinspirasikan keadaan lingkungan yang sehat serta dapat membangun masyakarat yang rukun dan pendekatan yang berusaha menjadikan lingkungan seperti layaknya permukiman kampung yang sehat secara fisik,psikologis, dan sosial. Kata kunci: Rumah susun sewa, kampung sehat ABSTRACT Population growth and urbanization is one of the problems that happen in urban areas. The direct impact is also faced by the government of Magelang City in Central Java due to the limited lands available for the population that has resulted in the competition to obtain residence as its own problem. It has urged the people in Magelang City to inhabit areas that do not comply with the city spatial planning and the ones that are uninhabitable due to the distortion of land utilization in illegal ways along the river banks and also on the land which are not their possession. Magelang itself is a city that is located in Central Java province. It has approximately 18 thousand square meters and there are only three sub districts. This city has a somewhat high population density, i.e. 120 thousand of people. Therefore, the Government of Magelang City has planned the additional residences in form of rumah susun sewa (a multi-storey rental housing) by using the approach of healthy village. The concept of this approach is a type of construction design inspired by healthy environment that also allows the development of community living in harmony, and an approach that attempts to realize an environment similarly like the healthy village, physically, psychologically, and socially.
