Abstract
ABSTRACT Fire is one of the tragedies that comes unpredictably, besides being unwanted by the people, it is often not controlled if the fire is already large. Fire events severely threaten and disrupt the lives and livelihoods of people caused by natural factors, non-natural factors, or human factors resulting in fatalities, environmental damage, property losses and psychological impacts. Judging from the geographical location, urban areas that have densely populated areas are vulnerable to the occurrence of fire disasters, threatening and disrupting people's lives and livelihoods. Fire is categorized as a form of disaster. Given the impact that occurs, a fire detection system is needed that can be used to detect the presence of fire in the house and can reduce the impact caused. This study was designed using an IR Flame sensor to detect the presence of fire in the house. The IR Flame sensor is a sensor that has a function as a flame detector where the flame has a wavelength between 760nm - 1100nm. This sensor uses infrared as a transducer in sensing the flame conditions. McNode is the sender of notifications on Telegram. This fire detection system designed in 1 room has 2 IR Flame sensors, to produce optimal conditions for detecting fire. The test results show that the system is able to provide accurate data and fire location information through the Telegram application, which in the Telegram application there are various features such as Telegram channels that can be added to channel members through the channel ID of more than 3000 members to receive information when there is information about the location of the disaster, especially fire, and Google Maps to find out the distance between the members of the Telegram channel and the position of the house on fire and is very useful to speed up the handling of the fire so that it does not expand and buzzer as an alarm simulation.
